Class 11 and 12 and notes for JEE and NEET !!!

Download the chapter notes, then finish with that chapter's practice set. No login, no payment, no download gate.

Physics 20 chapters Chemistry 19 chapters Biology 26 chapters

Class 11

The foundation year. Class 11 chapters carry a large share of both papers and everything in Class 12 is built on top of them.

Chemistry

9 chapters

Mole concept and atomic structure through to bonding, equilibrium and basic organic chemistry

Physics

11 chapters

Mechanics, gravitation, thermal physics and oscillations

Biology

13 chapters

Diversity of life, plant and animal structure, cell biology and plant physiology

Algae · Bryophytes · Pteridophytes · Gymnosperms · Angiosperms · Alternation of generations

Class 12

The board year, and the half of the syllabus that dominates the second round of revision.

Chemistry

10 chapters

Solutions, electrochemistry, kinetics, coordination compounds and the organic families

Physics

9 chapters

Electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, optics and modern physics

Biology

13 chapters

Reproduction, genetics, evolution, human health, biotechnology and ecology

No chapter matches that search. Try a shorter word, like “optics” or “kinetics”.

How to work through a chapter

Most students read notes the way they scroll a feed: top to bottom, once. That is the fastest way to forget them. This sequence takes longer on day one and saves a full re-read later.

1

NCERT first, notes second

These notes are compression, not replacement. Meeting a concept for the first time inside a condensed page gives you the summary without the reasoning behind it, which collapses the moment a question changes framing.

2

Close it and write the skeleton

From memory, write the chapter's headings and the two or three formulas or mechanisms under each. Whatever you cannot recall is exactly what needs revising. Four minutes here beats an hour of re-highlighting.

3

Solve the practice set

Attempt the chapter's questions while parts still feel shaky. Mistakes tell you which sub-topic to reopen far faster than another read-through will.

4

Revisit on day three and day ten

A chapter read once decays fast. Two short revisits, spaced a few days apart, hold much better than one long session. Keep a list of chapters with the date you last revised each.

Where the marks actually sit

All chapters are on the syllabus, but they do not carry equal weight. If you are short on time, this is a reasonable order of attack.

Biology

The largest share of NEET marks. Genetics and Evolution, Human Physiology, Cell Biology and Ecology account for a big chunk of it, so those four blocks deserve your first and most frequent revisions.

Chemistry

The most scoring paper for most students, because Inorganic and Organic reward clean memory work. Physical Chemistry numericals are formula-driven and repeat heavily across years.

Physics

Where most time gets lost. Mechanics and Electrodynamics dominate the paper between them, so those chapters deserve more practice than Modern Physics even though Modern Physics is shorter.

Exact weightage shifts a little every year, so treat this as a planning guide rather than a fixed number, and check the official NTA information bulletin for the syllabus and pattern that applies to your attempt.

What each chapter page contains

Every chapter on this site follows the same structure, so once you learn to read one page you can read all sixty-five the same way.

The concept, stated plainly. Each section opens with the definition or statement in one or two lines before anything is derived, so you always know what is being explained before the algebra starts.

Derivations and mechanisms in full steps. Physics derivations are written line by line rather than jumping to the result, and organic mechanisms show the intermediate at each arrow. Skipped steps are where marks disappear in the exam.

The points that get asked. Exceptions, unit traps, sign conventions and the small NCERT lines that turn into one-mark questions are called out instead of being buried in a paragraph.

A practice set where available. Chapter-level questions that follow the exam's usual framing, so you find out whether you understood the chapter or only recognised it.

About the author

Roshan

Founder, NeetCrackers · Science educator with 5 years of experience

I have spent the last five years studying and writing study material for NEET and JEE aspirants, and NeetCrackers grew out of the notes I was already making for me. Every chapter here is drafted against NCERT and the current NTA syllabus, then checked against previous years' papers so the emphasis matches what is actually asked rather than what is merely printed.

If you find an error in a chapter, or a topic that needs a clearer explanation, write in through the contact page. Corrections are made on the page itself and the review date is updated.

Common questions

Are these notes really free?

Yes. Every chapter and practice set is open to use, with no login, no subscription and no payment at any stage.

Do these notes replace NCERT?

No, and they are not meant to. NCERT stays your base text, especially for Biology, where questions are often lifted almost directly from its lines. These notes work as a revision layer on top of it.

Which syllabus do the chapters follow?

The chapter list follows the current NTA syllabus for NEET and JEE, mapped onto NCERT Class 11 and Class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Always cross-check the official information bulletin for the year of your attempt.

Can I use these chapters for JEE as well as NEET?

The Physics and Chemistry chapters are shared between both exams, so those pages serve either. Biology applies to NEET only.

In what order should I use the notes and practice set?

Go through the chapter notes first, then attempt the practice set only after one full read, so the questions test recall rather than reading speed.

How often is the content updated?

Chapters are reviewed when the syllabus changes and whenever a reader reports an error. The review date appears on each chapter page.
